It is true, that Sadaam was bad, but we did not enter the war to free his people. We entered the war so we could control oil. Iraq has become a kind of American colony, in a sense. Also, in the early eighties the U.S actually funded Sadaam with billions of dollars, and we knew exactly what he was going to use it for. The people are not better off. The people of Iraq are not happy. Do you see them greeting soldiers happily? They hate America, and why wouldn't they? All we've done is caused hundreds of American soldiers to die, as well as many, many Iraqis. The war has brought no good.
