America ( A - Mer - I - Ca means "Great Sea Of Souls" or "Great Mother Who Loves All Souls" ) was meant to be a place where people of all colors, faiths, and nationalities could live,love and learn together in peace and harmony. In other words, the sacred destiny of America is to anchor peace on this planet ( not war !! ). The Statue of Liberty, our beautiful Goddess of freedom and equality is our national altar. We will gather at this great planetary power spot to pray for our country in this time of national crisis.We will meet at the circular plaza with the flagpole in the middle, just north of the goddess. First meetup will be Sat., June 9th, 12 noon - 1pm. The prayer circle will start with a traditional native American prayer to the 6 directions - north, south, east, west, earth and sky. Then I will lead a guided peace meditation. Then we will pray/meditate silently for the rest of the hour. We will meet once a month on the 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month.
