Thankyou for your comments. I also appreciate people who are able to use factual data and logically lay out an argument. Too often do we encounter people on all ends of the spectrum who know too little about the topic of discussion. I would like to compliment you and Leigh on your well thought out arguments.

I would like to say finally that I try hard to locate information from many varied sources. I do like to get facts from CNN though because it is a leftist news organization and when a fact supporting my arguments comes through them it poses an in-your-face kind of situation that has thrown some people off before.

Out of all this I believe we are going to have to agree to disagree. As pointed out by a professor at my university, every human has a diffent view on values, morals, and ideals. We all have a different take on facts and our views of what information is important and what is irrelevant will always differ because of cultural and instilled family values. No matter what someone will always disagree with you.

Thankyou for the informed debate and such. I think that we are all now a little better off as we have better understandings of what other viewpoints are. Although I still stand by my beliefs I have a better respect for many who hold beliefs contrary to my own. I hope the same for your side of the debate. After all, understanding is certainly one route to peace.
