The U.S. assumes the presidency of the U.N. Security Council on June1 for one month. We must seize this opportunity to help bring peace to Darfur.
Darfur activists in New York will join our partner organization, Africa Action, this Thursday, May 22, to demand decisive action to bring peace to Darfur.

What: Africa Action Rally for Darfur in New York
When: Thursday, May 22, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: U.S. Mission to the U.N.
140 East 45th St., between 3rd and Lexington Avenues.
As president, the U.S. will have the opportunity to set the agenda for the Security Council and help deploy peacekeepers to protect the people of Darfur.
