Stumbled across your site in the wee hours and have been up all night taking it all in. As a teen of the 60s I wore a pair of peace sign earrings that my Godfather (veteran of Korea) gave me, and have treasured them my entire life to-date. I recently started wearing them again and am shocked at the odd remarks... from goofy smurks to "you must have been a hippy?". My response: I flash them the peace sign and wish them well. I married a VN vet who suffers night terrors, together we are parents of 2 awesome young adults, and I always believed that global change comes from a local level. How naive. Bottom-line, the peace sign is 50 years old and I never would have though back when I was a kid that it would STILL be NEEDED. God help us all. Bless and peace-out.
