My daughter is in college and when she was home recently on Spring break she told me that, especially among the women, it is very uncool to be pro-war or pro-military. Peace symbol earrings, necklaces and shirts are everywhere and there are a lot of anti-war bumper stickers on the cars. So great to know that peace is in fashion among the young! I showed her this Peace Please site and she loved it. She couldn't wait to e-mail her friends to tell them about it. I am so sick of these seemingly endless wars and the militarism of this country but my daughter's enthusiasm definitely gives me hope for the future.
