Hello everyone,

What a wonderful place this is to collectively share ideas for creating peace. My name is Debbie Milam and I am founder of The Creating Peace Project, dedicated to helping you create peace within yourselves, your families, and your communities. Leigh invited me to share a new 6 week online e-book course that I developed called The 7 Secrets to Peaceful Conflict Resolution.

The essence of this course is that in order for us to have peace on earth we must first start by creating peace within ourselves and within our families.

The first 5 lessons, go into this in detail. Everything from honoring differences, to the specific language that can decrease arguments and resolve them peacefully. In addition, there are insights into how to safely release emotions, compassion, forgiveness, practices that promote peace within and how to feel better about yourself so you can feel more confident in your relationships. Finally the last chapter focuses on how to create peace within our homes, communities and in our world.

I combined practical strategies, non-denominational spiritual insights, experiential activities and multiple opportunities for self reflection. In the comfort of your own home, anytime, day or night, this course will help people find peace within yourselves and your relationships. You can then share these tools with your loved ones. The course material will be e-mailed once a week for 6 weeks so you can experience it at your leisure and in small portions to improve retention.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated my nonprofit organization The Creating Peace Project dedicated to helping low income families and schools resolve conflict peacefully. So far the proceeds have helped to support this program in South Florida at Gator Run Elementary School, Camp Beth Emet, Temple Beth Emet, and St. David's Day School. In addition, it is being used in the Youth Ministry at Unity Church in Texas, Macklin Middle School in Toronto, and Noah's Ark Ministry in Africa.

I so believe if one by one we begin making these choices, my hope is one day there will be more people choosing peace rather than strife and like John Lennon says and the world can be as one.

May you and your loved ones be blessed and may we all know peace on earth.

Peace be with you,
