You know, thankfully enough saving trees in number is not so much the problem anymore. The issue that needs handling is saving trees per acreage. Logging, even though it might not sound like it, is important for the forests. As people have stopped the fires in the forests there is too much brush accumulating and the forests have become too dense. That is why over the past couple years there have been so many super fires, even more harmful to the forests than logging. Managed logging helps to thin the forest and maintain the forest.
