Regarding the death penalty, the number I've heard, and it's an old one, is that as of 2000 there were 88 people that were freed from death row after being wrongly convicted in capital crimes. These were the lucky ones - how many were killed before their innocence was shown? One person wrongly killed is too many. (And I believe the statistics show that those states with the death penalty have no lower per capita incidence of murder than those without the death penalty. If it's there as a deterrant it's not working).

As for abortion, I don't quite understand your sperm line, forgive. I'm not expert on biology, and don't have the background nor desire really to sit here and debate with you when viable life begins. But Joshua, what happens within and to a woman's body - and hence her life - when it comes to pregnancy is a decision that can be no ones but her own. It is not for you, or me, or the government to decide for her.
