That's just the thing, when you have an abortion the fetus DOESN'T have a heartbeat or mind of its own. It's pretty much a single celled organism. Is it better to have a horrible life with a teenage mother who doesn't have the money to support a child, or to be terminated before you have the chance to feel pain? At the time when you can have an abortion, the thing living inside you IS you. It is a part of your body. It's her choice because should she decide to have it, she would be the mother and she would decide the life of the child. As for the death penalty, why do we kill people who killed people to prove that killing people is wrong?
