WRONG! Most abortions are performed at six to eight weeks. Brain patterns are detectable at about a month after conception. You practically have to be planning to get pregnant and have an abortion to do it before a fetus has a mind. Along with that mind comes a functioning nervous system, those and the heart are the essential systems that develop first in a child. So yes, the fetus feels the pain of its body beeing burned and disolved by a saline solution or its head being crushed as in a partial-birth abortion.

Less than 4% of abortions are for health reasons which are almost completely avoidable thanks to modern medicine and only 3% are from rape and incest. So 93% of abortions are by people who don't care and not as many of those as you might think are from teens.

There was actually a time when the death penalty worked. It still works today in many countries. Unfortunately, it has become so easy for people to get off the hook with bogus pleas and legal jargon that the only way to get the death penalty anymore is with the worst sounding atrocities possible. So of course murder has been downgraded in America, hence more people think its ok to get away with it.
