I think the "war on terror" really should be a war against economic disparity. Countries in the EU (France, Germany), Japan and the US should give aid and support measures to combat population growth both within their own countries and abroad and assist establishing a means of production within developing countries. The US/Japan/EU should reduce industry-driven consumerism. Population growth will soon outstrip all resources and create world instability unlike any seen heretofore. I don't think Islam or Christianity is responsible for terrorism. I think the poor young man in Cairo or Jakarta does not have hope or a future. I too would be very angry and desparate. Nothing is worse than the lack of hope and the impotence in doing nothing.
