I'm sorry if what I said sounded like stop protesting all together. I'm for the anti-war protests, but just plain anti-Bush protests aren't going to do anything. I just think that because we've shown such a willingness to divide from each other that no one is able to accomplish anything whether it be right or wrong.

I did vote for Kerry, but even if he had won we'd still have an incredibly divided country. Without the respect of the other half of the country we can't work together and neither side can benefit from the predicament.

I think that to an extent we need to learn to compromise because even though we think it seems like failing at least we accomplish something.

I think sometimes that we're more afraid of compromising than we are that the Republicans will take over completely.
