What happens in the off chance that the elections in Iraq work?
Again I say we need new attitudes. Even though it is highly unlikely the elections will accomplish much, I think that on the surface everyone wants the Iraqi elections to work so that peace will begin to settle in Iraq. While at the same time a lot of liberals, or so it seems, would like to see a failure so that they can say "I told you so."
If they work will this cause Bush approval to skyrocket? I'm scared because some people are afraid that if things begin to work like our government says they will that Bush and the republicans will be popular and it will spell the death of their party.
I think we need new attitudes because everytime something goes right for Bush we can't embrace it fully.
And even after thinking about this, I'm not sure where to stand. Can anyone offer some good advice and thoughts about this?
