Your speech, Dr. Meyers, was the most beautiful and
powerful statement of what I believe and value that I have
seen yet. thank you for putting it into such succinct and
meaningful words for us to distribute. I sent it to 98 people
and the responses are flowing in, saying, "This is totally what
I believe!" "Thank you for sending this to me. I sent it to my
Born Again Christian coworker!" "This is POWERFUL."
Dr. Meyers, I would like to suggested that when you list what
real Christains, Jew, Muslims, Buddhists believe... that life is
precious, that you add humanists. You don't have to be
religious to know that life is precious. You have beautifully
expressed the beliefs of humanists as well. The 98 people to
whom I sent this are mostly humanists, agnostics, etc.
