Educators to Stop the War East Coast Regional Conference

(E. 94th Street and Park Avenue, Manhattan)

K-12, college, labor and social advocacy educators from the northeast and mid-Atlantic states have come together to organize a major conference to develop anti-war strategy, analysis, curriculum and organization within the educational community.
We are expecting about 400-500 teachers and about 100 students. This promises to be a rich conference and an antidote to the depression too many people are experiencing. This is a great way to get teachers involved in anti-war work in the workplaces and unions and, thus, an important way to build the anti-war movement.
