Prince of Peace
Peace starts one heart at a time. If you think you make no difference, think again. Smiles, random acts of kindness, stiffeling the urge to scream at the person who cuts you off in traffic, all of these are acts of peace. Recognizing our brother or sister thousands of miles away can do the same thing. The more we as individuals "tune in the peace frequency" the more we create a snowball effect of peace! Please enjoy the following poem I wrote a few days ago.

We all long for peace,
The big global kind.
Where does it start,
If not in the mind?

No bombs dropping,
No mourning, no fear,
Just a small spark,
To know the Christ is near.

It doesn't take summits,
or meetings, or speaches.
Just the daily walk
That still small voice beseeches.

For God is the Spirit
That enfolds the earth.
Just one flag, not many, just one bell ringing.
Celebration unfolding amidst joyful singing.

All leading up to a world
Full of mirth.
For what is the Christ
If not peace on earth?
