Leigh, Please read the attached letter. I am hoping that hundreds, maybe thousands of people will participate. Can you help me get the word out?
"When Will We Ever Learn?"
Dear Friends and Family, I am asking you to help educate our dear President George W. Bush. It seems that President Bush may not be aware of the fact that hundreds of men and women in our armed forces (not to mention thousands upon thousands of innocent humans) are being killed in Iraq. President Bush barely acknowledges the ultimate sacrifice of our young men and women in Iraq. He has not attended even one funeral or memorial. I know that he is a very busy president. His job is difficult and he works very, very hard (as he has told us). To help poor President Bush understand that humans are being killed daily in this war, I am asking you to take five minutes to cut out the obituaries from every Sunday paper that you have (today and all the Sundays in the future until the wars are over) and tuck them into an envelope and send them off to President Bush. I am also asking you to spread the word and maybe we can get hundreds, if not thousands, of obituaries sent to the very peaceful White House. Here is the address:
When Will We Ever Learn? President George W. Bush 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500
War is not the answer, Love, hope, peace, Cindy
