I was at the May 1 rally in support of the NPT. The Japanese people (Hiroshima, Nagasaki survivors and family members) were the kindest, most giving and gentle people we had ever encountered. They were full of love and hope, and marching with them was deeply moving. I doubt that we as Americans would show the same warmth and love if these devastating weapons had been used against us. These people gave us all hope for a more loving, peaceful, united humanity. In peace.
