I Have a Dream

I grow weary at what I have seen in this world. I do not think God intended
for humanity to become what I have seen. The anger, violence, and senseless
deaths are not appealing to me. And for what? An opinion a point of view a
political belief mixed with religious and cultural rhetoric. Okay maybe
rhetoric is not a good word here but you get the point. Obviously, my issue
is that with the feared Al-Qaeda. We the people of this world should not
have to fear them. We all seek the goodness in life such as love and family
to live without fear for our loved ones and our children. Consider this
there are more of us then there are of them. The Al-Qaeda has to hide from
the world because there is not many of them. The Al-Qaeda knows if they ever
came out of hiding they would have to lift up their robes and bend over
because the whole world would line up to kick their butts for being so
stupid. The senseless killings of thousands of people based on an opinion
are not what I deem judicial to their cause. From my point of view, the
people of the world that seek goodness in life with love and family are the
good people. The Al-Qaeda, well they do not do anything good so then they
are the bad people, the stupid people if you will. I propose this from now
on anybody that does something stupid or bad we just say, “Well that was an
Al-Qaeda stupid thing to do” or “Al-Qaeda stupid aren’t you” .Now we have
changed their name from fear to stupidity. Have new bumper stickers instead
of “buttheads” say “Are you Al-Qaeda stupid?” Here is a joke: What did the
Al-Qaeda leader say at the small town when he was recruiting for volunteers?
Nothing he blew himself up.” Oh, please I want to join that group…NOT.
If the Al-Qaeda has such a strong belief in God then let them prove it. If
any one who decides to kill, steal or create harm for their own benefit at
the sake of others let them prove it. Nobody shoots anybody; nobody dies at
the hands of others no violence, no harm, no kidnapping, no molestation, no
crime NO HARM TO ANYBODY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. It took God six days to
create the world and then he rested and saw that it was good. November 17,
is World Peace Day oh no not another proposal you say. Yes, it is my friend
but I beckon to you that my ideals fall on your heart. From this point on
let this letter go out to everyone in the world. Send it your friends and
let them send it to their friends. Send it to your fellow workers in your
office and have them sent it out onto the world. Give it to your children to
take to school. Spread it throughout your neighborhood and community. Put it
up for all to see in your lounges, nurse’s stations, offices, and have
people write down their email addresses so you can send the message out to
them so they in turn can send it to the world. Translate it; mail it, fax it
send it to Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Asia. Send it out to the
world. Let everyone know that we the people of this world want peace for one
whole week beginning November 10 to the 17th. Let all the good people of the
world stand united for peace. Put it on billboards, put it on bumper
stickers and put it on the milk cartoons. Well maybe not the plastic one but
you know what I mean. Put signs out in front of your home that says, “World
Peace lives here”. I want to see a new advertisement that says, “World peace
is just four months away. How can you help?” Do whatever it takes to spread
this letter and its ideals out onto the world. Take this letter and say to
your self “Today I am going to do something good for the world.”
Many of you will say I am idealistic and yet you feel compelled to follow
for you too share the same thoughts. Others will say it is a great thought
without hope and the rest will sit, wonder, and dream my dream. Reconsider
the point of there are more good people then there are bad people. During
this week if anyone commits a crime or harm to any other many of us will
point our fingers and say, “What the hell do you think your doing? Haven’t
you heard? Don’t you know the people of the world are working towards
peace?” Instantly we have labeled the bad people those that do not wish for
world peace. The good people, the people of the world, will instantly find
strength because we will have the support of the rest of the world that
believe as we do. We need not beat the offenders but just let them know that
they have done something that hurts or would have potential of hurting
others from their action. The numbers of the bad people will slowly dwindle
because now they see that the world is seeking peace and they wish not to be
labeled as a “bad guy” or “Al-Qaeda stupid”. Therefore, for a whole week
they actually have to practice being good. However, we all know that the bad
will slowly return to their not so good natures and crime and violence will
return to the streets. However, I see the people of the world continuing
their efforts and months afterwards, groups and organizations will be formed
to keep the spirit of world peace alive, once again good triumphs.
Understand this, I give the people of the world a means or avenue in which
we can stand united against the Al-Qaeda stupid of the world and reclaim the
peace we all have wished and prayed for. Let those that feel as I do send
this message out to their friends and family with hope. Let the skeptics act
on the remains of their moral fiber. Many people will be skeptical at the
success of this. Many will say it will not work and nobody will do what you
ask of them. Many more will sit and read this message and wonder. Should I
send it out to my friends and family and let the world see and hear this
message or do I let it die here with me? I understand many of you will be
reluctant to send this message forward but I implore you to take
consideration of others that feel and think as I do and send this message
out. Act in consideration of the people of this world act now.
I grow weary of the spite and anger that others inflict I am sad from the
senseless deaths created out of hate and vengeance I sorrow with the drug
overdoses and the drive by shootings. I wish it to stop. When I was a child
sitting, in church I used to pray for world peace now I am actually going to
attempt it but I need your help and that of the people of the world. I have
a dream, a dream of peace, a peace that God could smile upon. God bless all
that participate.
