Congratulations on your new look forum and its intended aim.

I have a Talkshop forum with the following purpose:
"The aim of this board is not to spread hatred and calls for war but to promote peace and understanding. Conflicting opinions and ideas are respected if they are within the guidelines set in the Disclaimer and The Rules of Engagement with the hope that they get closer to each other."

Unfortunately, it is easier to make war than peace and even easier to hate than love.

I was hoping through my message board, that people will come with ideas to bring peace, at least between the conflicting parties in the Middle East, but alas, these are few and far in between. Most participants are justifying their cases rather than proposing solutions.

I am for peace and no war. I see no justification for war for any reason. The world community should help and there should be no justifications for civilians to be killed by other civilians or the military.

The world community should help by removing all causes for hate, either be it race, religion, poverty, ignorance etc.... We as humans have the capabilities to achieve this. In my opinion it is mostly greed and the lack of will in the upper echelon that prevents us from achieving this.

Anyway, hope you have better luck on your board and achieve something we all are aspiring for.
