Dear Cindy and followers,

If any one in the group other than Cindy has lost family members or friends in the Iraq war or any other war I offer my warmest and most heart felt condolences. I don't like the idea of war anymore than any of you do. On the other hand I think Cindy and the rest of the group of anti war demonstrators should look hard at what you are doing. The war is not going to end no matter how much you protest. Your freedom of the right to protest when and where you want, and your right to say what you want, when you want to whom and about what or whom you want has been paid for with the blood of Cindy's son and thousands of other US Soldiers over countless years and many many wars. If you honestly think you would enjoy the freedoms you have today had it not been for past wars like WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, and now Iraq you are mistaken. By your actions you demonstrate now, today, you only accomplish one thing, you fuel the attempt of the enemy, the terrorist who ever that may be. Sadam Hussein said at the start of the war in Iraq the USA would not stay because this country (USA) would stop at the site of blood. I hope Sadam was wrong, and I hope our country stays until Iraq has troops trained and they can defend themselves and become a partner with the rest of the free world that enjoys the right to freedom, and they too can help stomp out terror in every corner of the world. Your efforts would be much greater spent if you would protest to have France, Germany, Russia, and other country's we have helped in the past gain freedom and these same country's today get USA aid in the form of US tax dollars. If you want to complain about something complain about these countries’s lack of help on the war on terror. Complain about the United Nations only taking advantage of weak country’s situations and stealing money from the weak nations while the USA pays 25% of the operating budget of that organization. Time will come these bad people will be living in the USA and taking over our country from inside. It hasn't been too many years ago we started seeing these radical people come to our country and use Islam as a shield to spread hate. I do not say all Islamic people are bad for I have neighbors on my street that are Islamic and they say they wish the bad people using this practice would be driven out. In ending all I am saying is make the spill of blood by Cindy's son meaningful for the remainder of time and stop making our troops feel like the troops did in Vietnam ashamed, worthless, not loved, and not wanted. I'm sorry if you can't see that is what you are doing. Michael Moore isn't right and if we could put the Iraq war on a ballot and the majority vote on it I bet it would be to stay the course and defeat terror. President Bush says we must fight them there instead of at home and I agree and to take it one step further, I would rather fight them in Iraq than I had Afghanistan. Think about it, it is easier fought in Iraq than the mountain regions of Afghanistan. One thing I haven't heard is any of you protesting against the Afghanistan war, are you for or against the war effort in Afghanistan? Would you rather the USA said ok terrorist we will not retaliate for 9/11 so come on and hit us again. The only way to stop them is to go after them. We can't even stop them at our borders and if we did bring our troops home and us use these same troops to completely shut down our borders, most in your group of people would protest against that too. So if you don't like the way the government is operating the war then leave. Go live in France or Germany, just don't call us when something happens to your new country or when you need money. One last thing is, Cindy's son knew when he joined the military as does every solider joining that there is a chance of having to go to war. I remind you this is an all volunteer service and if soldiers and their families don't get that then they should not join up for service. Personally I thank each and ever soldier and their family for their service in this and all past wars for their sacrifice for the freedom I enjoy and the help they offer to make my family safer.
