Subject: Re: We Don't Exist

When I read Voices for Peace and I see the same fighting, good cop/
bad cop mentality that is behind all these supposedly 'illegal' conflicts
and wars, I feel saddened to realize that the light of truth has yet to
penetrate to the bones of these movements and demonstrations. No
demonstration for peace can really exist if it aligns itself with discord. I
have so much compassion for that position that you feel strongly
"against", but can you please step back a few paces a reflect that the
peace you seek begins inside yourself and extends out to ALL. Bush
and Karl Rove and whoever else takes on the 'enemy' persona for you,
you call the criminals and every manner of foul name, poisoning
yourself within your inner sanctum. Where is the peace? Do you extend
love and compassion for ALL those in existence? We and the religions
of the world need to walk our talk, if we will ever actually accomplish
anything worthwhile! It's hard for us to grasp, 'tis certain, that we are
part of the problem sometimes more than an effective solution,
because as long as anyone continues to polarize that way, then it's not
really going to work! The illusion of separation drives this kind of
division, and until we can really understand this, 'grok' it deeply in the
fibers of our beings, we don't have a voice for peace, but just another
conflict, something to push against. I wish you the best and I sincerely
hope that you pray for peace to begin inside yourself, embrace ALL the
leaders who are on any "side" and realize that EVERYONE , including
yourself, is doing their best to take care of themselves. Judge not lest
ye be judged. I do not want to judge you or anyone else, but try to
embody the adage to "become the peace you wish to see in the world"
