Subject: Support the Dep't of Peace bills in the U.S. Congress |

Please support the creation of a cabinet level federally funded Department of Peace in the Executive branch of the U. S. Gov't. The Dep't's purpose would be to research, articulate and facilitate peaceful, non-violent means of conflict resolution both domestically and internationally. The Dep't would of course have a Secretary of Peace as it's lead administrator and create a Peace Academy modeled on the four military academies as well.
Currently HR3760 is active in the US House of Representatives and S1756 has just been introduced in to the US Senate.
Please CALL CONGRESS and ask them to support these momentus bills. 202 224-3121.
