At VOICES FOR PEACE we'd like to build a data base of individual visions or voices of peace. Through it someone born in one part of the world, or on a certain day, will be able to see what their counterparts in other parts of the world picture in their mind when they think of peace.
Hopefully the data base will build over time into something that will provide insight, inspiration and support. To do this though we need your help. If you'd like to participate in the VOICES FOR PEACE project, please post a message which includes:
1 - Your city and country of birth
2 - Your date of birth (including day, month and year)
3 - The city and country where you live now
4 - THE THOUGHT OR IMAGE THAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU THINK OF PEACE
Your vision may be one word or a picture, a poem or an essay (if possible, keep it to one page), a web site link to a short film - the vision and how you represent it is up to you. Maybe it's a scene that reflects the absense of peace that comes to your mind, or maybe it's the smile of a child. Whatever it is, we hope you'll share it with us, and check back to see what others have posted.
